Cumulus a sponsor of prestigious USAging Program
Every year, USAging proudly recognizes the innovative, successful and replicable programs and initiatives of its members through the USAging Aging Innovations & Achievement (AIA) Awards program.
Cumulus is proud to be a sponsor of this prestigious program, helping USAging honor and showcase the initiatives of Area Agencies on Aging (AAAs) and Title VI Native American Aging Programs across the country.
This sharing of cutting-edge concepts, innovative ideas and successful strategies helps inspire others, seed replication and boost the capacity and success of all agencies.
Aging Innovations Awards honor the most innovative programs among all nominations received and Aging Achievement Awards recognize the most contemporary, effective, and replicable programs.
Annually, the awards are presented during the USAging Conference and Tradeshow. During the upcoming 48th Annual 2023 Conference and Tradeshow, in Salt Lake City, UT, programs will be honored with 16 engraved Aging Innovations Awards and 34 Aging Achievement Awards. In addition, Cumulus’ sponsorship helps enable the top-ranking programs to receive monetary awards. The Cumulus team looks forward to presenting checks to the top winners on stage during the conference General Session on Monday July 17.
To qualify for an award, programs must have been in operation between one and five years, receive minimal assistance from outside experts, and demonstrate effective approaches in either offering new services or improving existing services. Awards criteria include demonstration of measurable results such as cost savings, improved client service and enhanced staff productivity. The AIA Awards are open to USAging AAA and Title VI members only.
Highlights of all past Aging Innovations Award recipients are available in the USAging-members-only AIA clearinghouse.
