With more than 40 years of experience advocating for older Americans and leading impactful public service initiatives, Mr. Walker brings invaluable expertise to the Cumulus team. His extensive career in aging policy and program development positions him as a key asset as Cumulus continues to innovate and deliver solutions that optimize integrated healthcare models.
Mr. Walker's distinguished career includes his long tenure as the Deputy Assistant Secretary for Aging at the Administration for Community Living (ACL) within the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. In this role, he was instrumental in developing and expanding home and community-based long-term care programs that helped older adults and their caregivers age with dignity and independence. Prior to his work at ACL, Mr. Walker served as the Director of the Missouri Division of Aging, where he oversaw comprehensive services for older adults and individuals with disabilities, ensuring they had access to the support they needed to thrive.

Edwin L. Walker retired from federal service in March 2024, leaving behind a remarkable legacy of advancing policies and programs that promote independence, health, and well-being for older Americans. He holds a Juris Doctor from the University of Missouri-Columbia School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Media Arts from Hampton University.
