Nevada SCSEP Program Selects Cumulus

Deployment

Cumulus has been chosen by Nevada’s Senior Community Service Employment Program (SCSEP) to optimize operations and automate complex processes, leading to greater efficiency and improved outcomes. Equus Workforce Solutions, Nevada’s SCSEP grantee, will leverage Cumulus to streamline every phase of the SCSEP program—from participant enrollment to performance tracking and payroll management. Additionally, Cumulus will simplify adherence with federal Grantee Performance Management System (GPMS) reporting requirements.

Equus Workforce Solutions is North America’s most comprehensive workforce services provider, serving more than 1 million individuals annually across 350 locations in 35 states, Canada, Puerto Rico, and the U.S. Virgin Islands. Their vision of thriving communities with equitable opportunity for all is supported by their mission to change lives, advance economies, and transform communities through industry-leading solutions. In 2022, Equus became part of the APM Group, a global organization of human services companies initiated in 1994, with specialized expertise in Employment Services, Health and Wellbeing, Aged Care and Disability Support, and Assessments.

"Our SCSEP program is thrilled to partner with Cumulus to streamline our operations, allowing us to dedicate more time and resources to serving our clients effectively."

–Lauren Burd, Equus Workforce Solutions Project Director

Created in 1965, SCSEP is the nation's oldest program designed to help low-income, unemployed individuals aged 55 and older find work. SCSEP matches eligible older adults with part-time training assignments at nonprofit organizations, enabling them to build skills and self- confidence while earning a modest income. For most, their SCSEP experience leads to permanent employment.

Cumulus for SCSEP offers staff a guided enrollment process that makes it easy to establish eligibility, gather required evidence and attestations, and place participants in meaningful employment training positions.

"Cumulus for SCSEP automates end-to-end workflows to meet the unique requirements of this critical program. The Cumulus team is excited to welcome the Nevada SCSEP program as a customer and looks forward to supporting their success."

–Tom Laba, Cumulus President

Cumulus helps SCSEP programs transition from traditional, paper-based, error-prone, enrollment processes to efficient, results-driven operations.
