The National Council on Aging (NCOA) Trailblazers in Aging Awards recognize individuals and organizations around the country who are working toward a just and caring society that allows all of us to age with dignity, purpose, and security.

Each year, the  Trailblazers in Aging Awards recognize outstanding contributions of those working to ensure that every American can age with dignity. Awards are given in six categories – Innovator, Change Agent, National Institute of Senior Centers Founders Award (exemplary service in the field of Senior Centers), Public-Private Partnership, Champion, and Distinguished Service.
