Cumulus Expands Platform to Support Older Americans Act Programs and OAAPS Reporting

Cumulus Care is expanding its connected technology platform to support Older Americans Act (OAA) program management and Older Americans Act Performance System (OAAPS) reporting, extending Cumulus into the core work of Area Agencies on Aging and State Units on Aging.

The expansion brings OAA programs into the same flexible environment Cumulus already provides for Community Care Hubs, Veteran-Directed Care, evidence-based programs, financial management services, referrals, assessments, care coordination, and other community-based services.

Organizations across the Aging Network are being asked to manage an increasingly complex mix of programs, partnerships, funding sources, and reporting requirements. We believe their technology should help bring that work together rather than adding silos. Expanding Cumulus to support OAA and OAAPS is an important step in that direction.

For a More Connected Aging Network

Traditional aging-services systems have often been centered on individual programs, funding streams, and reporting requirements. At the same time, AAAs and other Aging Network organizations are increasingly serving as Community Care Hubs, contracting with health plans and health systems, operating Veteran-Directed Care and other programs, coordinating referrals across community partners, and participating in broader health and social care networks.
